Our Dogs

Fergus and Freya are our beloved certified therapy dogs, bringing comfort, joy, and calm to everyone they meet. Freya is a unique and energetic mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Catahoula, and Golden Retriever, combining intelligence, loyalty, and a gentle, friendly nature. Fergus, a Border Collie, is equally remarkable, highly attentive, affectionate, and incredibly intuitive around people. Together, they make a wonderful team, each with their own personality but sharing a natural ability to connect with others in meaningful ways.
As certified therapy dogs, Fergus and Freya are available to visit schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and other community spaces. Their presence can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, and create moments of happiness for people of all ages. Whether it’s offering a quiet cuddle, participating in reading programs, or simply brightening someone’s day, Fergus and Freya are always ready to make a positive impact. You can book them for visits and special events, bringing their warmth and companionship directly to your community.
It’s important to understand the differences between therapy dogs, service dogs, and emotional support dogs. Therapy dogs, like Fergus and Freya, are trained and certified to provide comfort and emotional support to groups of people in settings such as hospitals and schools. Service dogs, on the other hand, are individually trained to perform specific tasks for a person with a disability, such as guiding someone who is visually impaired or alerting to medical conditions. Emotional support dogs provide comfort to their owners but do not require specialized task training or certification. Each type of support animal plays a valuable role, but their training, responsibilities, and access rights are different.
